This role will be working an initial 12-month contract for 9hrs per day.
Reporting to the Produce Environment Lead, the HSE Specialist will be responsible for executing environmental reporting activities; with a focus on environmental data including air (GHG & criteria pollutants), water and waste data.

Reporting to the Produce Environment Lead, the HSE Specialist will be responsible for executing environmental reporting activities; with a focus on environmental data including air (GHG & criteria pollutants), water and waste data.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage environmental reporting systems and data management:
- Undertake environmental data entry as required
- Maintain system and data quality in accordance with defined regulatory, enterprise and BU requirements
- Undertake QA/QC of data sets to maintain a high standard of data integrity
- Maintain strong enterprise and BU stakeholder relationships to ensure environmental systems continue to meet business needs
- Maintain effective stakeholder engagement with teams that supply environmental data to ensure alignment, consistency and data quality
- Provide centralized ABU environmental reporting & analytics service:
- Co-ordinate the end-to-end environmental reporting process (requirements identification through to report submission and stakeholder consultation and approval)
- Ensure accurate and on-time delivery of environmental reports to meet internal and external obligations
- Maintain high level of fluency on environmental regulatory, enterprise (including OE Data Reporting Standard) and JVP reporting requirements
- Maintain effective stakeholder relationships to ensure effective and timely environmental report reviews, sign offs and response to internal and external queries
- Co-ordinate external, corporate and JVP audits of the company’s environmental data
- The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate the following:
- Broad environmental management experience that will support the effective implementation of environmental reporting processes
- Teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills: demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Strong organisational and planning skills: ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing business priorities, and progress work scopes to agreed outcomes in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related environmental engineering discipline
- A high level of competence in handling data using databases, analytical tools and reporting software with strong technical proficiency (e.g., understanding data models and underlying technical information systems that make up data systems)
- Excellent data analysis skills, attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience in environmental data management, performance and compliance reporting and IT systems across the Value Chain
- Knowledge of environmental legislation and regulations and OEMS
