The client is looking for Manufacturing Process Technician based in the Haarlem (Netherlands) on an initial 5-month contract, but with potential for a perm contract.
Job Purpose:
Employee is working in ABR manufacturing department on manual line 108 with approximately 10 colleagues. Team is working in a 2 shift, 5-day schedule. According to standard work principles team/individuals is/are taking care that defined performance on Safety, Quality, delivery, inventory, and performance are executed. Diversity of culture and native makes that a good knowledge (verbal, reading, writing) of English language is necessary. Escalation and reporting out on Tier 1 level he/she needs to do towards Line Lead in a clear and factual manner.
Main Responsibilities of the role
- Running a production line according to operating procedures
- Working together and constructive communication with other operators and line leads
- Quality and performance driven.
- Looking for improvement and efficiency in and around working processes
- Taking care of escalation when necessary
- Taking ownership for all tasks and results
- Taking active part on Shift hand over process in the line
- Taking care, all training has been followed according to deadlines
- Taking care of related line 108 logistic processes
In addition, act as back-up for line lead during his/her absence
- Responsible for team performance by ensuring high safety & quality standards, meet output performance targets and drive productivity in the assigned team
- Flawless execution of production processes according agreed targets
- Facilitating, coaching and developing staff in respective team
- Organize and lead team meetings, shift handovers
- Owns planning & organization (time, staff, lines, materials, equipment), Keeps the helicopter view of the line, takes appropriate actions in case of line issues in order to meet the planned performance.
- Owns logging and reporting of line performance in SSL, SHO,DAT, PDD tool
- Makes sure batch documentation is completed and accurate before it leaves the line.
- Leads T1 triages with cross functional teams (M&E, QA, MFG), drives collaboration and action
- Divides work/tasks by providing clear guidance and instructions to staff and contingent workers
- Coaching, motivation staff members
- Liaison between leader and team
Desired qualifications:
- 2 - 3 years experienced in manufacturing environment (preferable Pharmacy, GMP/GDP environment)
- Working with Standard Operating Procedures
- Preferable experience with SAP/MES
- Has experience in leading ship area
- Has inside in what Continuous improvement means regarding own role.
- Has experience in leading ship area
- MBO (level 2), pre VAPRO A.
- MBO level knowledge of English language.
