The Role:
The client are looking for an experienced pipeline engineer to support/manage pipeline integrity of all the client's Australian LNG pipelines. In this role, you will maintain and track integrity critical maintenance tasks, project manage and execute inline inspection and riser inspection work scopes including analyses of the results and possible follow on works. In addition, you will support the senior pipeline engineer or delegate with the DevMan/MOC processes, CMMS/JDE Quarterly KPI reporting, GS2 and JIC, Corrosion Management Plan and Inspection and Monitoring Plan updating, and offshore installation and survey campaigns.
To be a successful pipeline engineer, you must engage with many internal (Assets) and external stakeholders including DMIRS, NOPSEMA and other JV partners. You will be working in the Subsea equipment, system and pipelines team. Knowledge of pipeline design and codes, subsea pipeline surveys and inspections (ROV / AUV), commissioning and pre-commissioning is desired. Understanding of flow assurance, materials and corrosion, and welding would be beneficial.
Moreover, the pipeline engineer will support the preservation/storage/maintenance of the Emergency Pipeline Repair System equipment.
Skilled pipeline engineer should possess excellent analytic thinking, highly accurate in work, determined and problem- solving.
