Familiar with International Project Engineering/Project Management Standards.
Must be able to document/demonstrate understanding of relevant RoK Regulatory procedures - RoK Approval and Licensing procedures preferred.
Documented influencing and presentation skills, is able to liaise with stakeholders and is capable of engagement with the RoK Authorities on subject matter.
Excellent communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English.
Ability to communicate well, laterally and vertically within an organization.
Possesses credibility as a senior technical leader.
Ability to work in a team environment, communicate, understand and work within the dynamics of a multifunctional and multi-location environment.
Able to manage multidisciplinary team, setting objectives, accurately assessing performances, identify corrective actions.
Able to manage the integration of HSE and technical risk processes into engineering and project solutions; good interpersonal skills and ability to influence outcomes positively with and without direct authority.
Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions, proven problem solving skills (including the ability to apply these skills in a situation of emergency).
Excellent abilities to read, write, understand and explain documentation, condense, analyses and shares information with others including train/coach/mentor and develop national engineers and inspection staff.
Ability to prioritize and accordingly oversee, direct, and organize the work of the Materials and Corrosion Engineering team;
Conversant with / able to use standard computer software packages such as MS Office / SAP / Scheduling
Software (eg MS Project / Primavera ).
