Estimator - Heavy Civil

The client are recruiting on behalf of a major US contractor who are seeking a Senior Civil Estimator who is a specialist in delivering bids and tenders with a focus on Heavy civil projects such as bridges, highways and structures.

Opportunity

Project

The candidate must hold a specialised knowledge in heavy civil construction with at least five years professional experience. Experience ideally will be with estimation or project management of major heavy civil bridges/highway works. The candidate will be responsible for preparing complete estimates for assigned heavy highway, structures and heavy civil project(s) of medium to large size and varying complexity

The candidate will begin in November/December 2020 and be based in South Florida. Remote working may be possible.

Requirements

For this role the client have a minimum requirement of:

-At least five years experience in Bridge/Highway/earthwork/structures Construction

- Specialised knowledge and training in civil engineering construction projects

-Heavy civil experience

-Degree in Civil Engineering, construction engineering or related discipline

-Fluent Language skills in English & US Residence.
