Instrument Technical Authority

On behalf of a major Oil and gas company, the client is looking for an Instrument Technical Authority to work in Kuala Lumpur on a permanent basis. You will be leading a team of 3 Instrument Engineers within the Maintenance & Integrity department.

Job Duties will include

• Acting as a focal point between Production Operations and other departments on matters related to Operating Integrity for the discipline of Instrument.
• The appointment and management of an effective and competent ROTA structure to support SCE Management.
• Ensuring that the OI&E team's plans and activities are delivered within budget and minimise non-cost recovery.
• Ensuring a competent onshore technical support team in disciplines relevant to the clients' Assets and production operations

Ideal candidate will have

• A minimum of 15-year experience working in the operational phase of an Oil & Gas asset;
• Proven experience in leading a team of engineers
• Extensive experience in a technical support role for offshore Oil & Gas facilities
• Proven experience in refining, developing and/or rolling out procedures
