The client is one of the largest renewable energy project developers in the world. The company is dynamically developing in Poland, which is why we look for experienced candidates for the position of Land Manager.
Land Manager has responsibility for securing the land rights for the wind and PV power plants, that require contacts with landowner and stakeholders, negotiation, drafting and securing agreements. Manager also takes care of due diligence from land management point of view, of projects to be acquired (site visits, local acceptance investigation). Land Manager contacts road associations, prepares road use agreements and assists road associations with official meetings. The scope of duties also include producing map materials that illustrates the agreements of the project. Land Manager during construction monitors and if needed assists with landowner interests being considered.
The ideal candidate for this role has work experience for example in forestry sales/purchasing, land use planning or land surveying and should have applicable education, for instance bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Land Surveying, Environmental Engineering. The candidate needs to have strong negotiation skills, experience of handling legal contracts, strong interpersonal skills with ability to build solid relationships with stakeholders. Knowledge of Polish and English languages is required. Furthermore the candidate has to be aware that as a Land Manager will work mostly in terrain/fieldwork.
