Position : Permitting Associate
DEPARTMENT: PROJECT MANAGEMENT
DIRECT SUPERIOR: RPOJECT AND STAKEHOLDER MANAGER
LOCATION: SEOUL, South Korea
MISSION:
Work collaboratively with the Project and Stakeholder Manager, technical team, consultants and corporate teams of sponsors to supervise studies and prepare all permits and licenses required for the construction and operation of two or more offshore floating wind farms in the region of Ulsan.
MAIN ACCOUNTABLITIES:
·RELATIONSHIP WITH PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND STAKEHOLDERS.
Jointly with the Project and Stakeholder manager, be focal point of contact with Korean administrations such as Ministry of Fisheries, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Trade, Infrastructure and Energy or Ulsan City Government, and with affected stakeholders such as Fishermen unions.
Negotiate collaboration agreements with affected stakeholders and monitor compliance.
·SECURING ELECTRICITY BUSINESS LICENSE, ENVIRONMENTAL AUTHORIZATION AND OTHER PERMITS.
Coordinate the preparation of all necessary studies required to construct the wind farm and related infrastructure.
· 2 – 4 years in permitting or development l roles in the renewable energy sector.
· Experience working in international environments.

- In the short term the priority of the projects is to obtain the Electricity Business License (EBL).
- Securing the EBL requires coordinating with Ulsan City Government, Ministry of Fisheries, Ministry of Defense, Minsitry of Culture and Ministry of Environment as well as with local stakeholder such as Fishermen unions or city councils.
- In the medium term, the priority of the projects is to obtain the Environmental Authorization and the rest of the permits required for the construction of the wind farm and related infrastructure.
- Coordinate with technical team to ensure the design of the project is compliant with the requirements of the different permits and all relevant stakeholder requests.
- University – Engineering or business degree
· 2 – 4 years in permitting or development l roles in the renewable energy sector.
· Experience working in international environments.

- Excellent social, inter-personal, public-speaking and negotiation skills.
- Extreme proactivity.
- Results-driven profile.
- Strong capacity to synthesize and to prioritize
- Understanding of the main technical concepts related to renewable and offshore energy.
