Contract: Cost Controller / Qatar

TAX FREE Contractual Job Opportunity for experienced locally available Cost Controllers to be based in Qatar has just been made available by an industry leader. 

Job Purpose: 

To conduct accurate and timely financial accounting transactions, collaborate with business to analyze and manage costs, prepare internal management information reports and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and international financial and accounting reporting standard. 


To qualify, candidate must possess the following: 

• Valid Transferable Qatar Visa (QID) 
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or any business related field. 
• Chartered accountant or equivalent whereas additional certs would be a must (CMA,CPA, CA or ACCA)
• 8-10 years relevant experience in a similar field preferably in a related industry
• Relevant working experience and good knowledge in accounting software eg Oracle will be preferred
• Knowledge of cost management and profitability analysis, cost controlling and cost allocation mechanisms and methodologies.
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
