Contract: Construction Coordinator / USA

The client is excited to announce that their office has an incredible job opportunity with one of the country’s largest chemical distribution organizations out of their New Johnsonville, TN location for a Construction Coordinator. This individual would be employed on a contract to hire basis and be responsible for overseeing various new construction projects at their manufacturing plant. Job Details
Location: New Johnsonville, TN
Hours: M-F 40 hours per week—some OT may be required.
Pay Range: $50-$70/hr. depending on experience.
Duration: Contract will start ASAP and last 12 months with a possibility for contract extensions beyond 12 months.
 
Responsibilities

• Manage all capital project construction activities in accordance with site & company safety policies / procedures.
• Manage capital construction schedule in alignment with project managers and site representatives.
• Capital team advocate, liaison and gatekeeper for the site contractor safety program.
• Active participation on applicable capital project design and cost estimating efforts.
• Manage daily activities for resident & outside contractors.
• Schedule all contractor work activities in accordance with site contractor safety program (security notifications, SWP's, JSA's, etc.)
• Construction monitoring / support as required by project schedules.

 
Job Qualifications

• Must have at least 10+ years of construction and/or project management experience.
• Must have previous experience managing capital construction projects.
• Previous experience in the chemical sector would be a big plus.
• Knowledge of SAP would be a big plus.
• Local candidates to the New Johnsonville, TN region are highly preferred.
