Contract: Mechanical Field Engineer / California

OBJECTIVE

The Mechanical Field Engineer provides support to ensure the highest quality of the engineering and construction of the mechanical aspects of the project, this includes but not limited too; Civil, Structural Steel, Piping, and Machinery. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• General Support:-
  • Acts as a liaison between Construction & Project Managers.
  • Assist with material verifications of items delivered to the warehouse, and checkout to the respective contractors.
  • Helps resolve RFI’s.
  • Contributes to Project Safety Plan.
• Engineering Support:-
  • Field Surveys.
  • Provide Photos as requested.
  • Drawing Research.
  • Review of engineering/design drawings for compliance.
  • Participates in Constructability Reviews.
• Construction Support:-
  • Performs regular inspections of the contractors work onsite and off-site, to ensure the works are continuing per the project specifications.
  • Provide field review of construction drawings. Verify Redline drawings are being created as construction is ongoing.
  • Provide compliance feedback to respective projects Team or conformance to drawings. 
  • Performs mechanical completion inspections checklist once the contractor has completed the works, for piping, structural steel & civil works.
  • Complete and coordinate MOC Field Verification and checklists requirements.
