The client is looking for a Senior Contracts Administrator’s for an upcoming vacancy based in Brisbane with a growing renewable energy EPC contractor.
You will join a talented team providing effecting contract management and administration to a number of Renewable Energy EPC projects.
Must have’s:
You will be responsible for managing a number of EPC contracts between the business and developer.
Other contracts will include; O&M, Sub-EPC, Construction Contracts, Major Capital Equipment, Labour Hire, Maintenance & Repair, Forward & Purchasing Agreements
Qualifications:
You will join a talented team providing effecting contract management and administration to a number of Renewable Energy EPC projects.
Must have’s:
- Demonstrable EPC contract management and administration experience
- Detail orientated professional
- Strong understanding of legal and contractual risk to the business and able to provide solutions to resolve.
- Proven tender management and contract negotiation experience.
- Being contract ‘owner’ and expert contact for the business, managing a portfolio of contracts
- Managing the tender process for subcontractors and suppliers – including pre-qualification, evaluation, implementation, negotiation and contract review and drafting in a timely, efficient, concise and considerate manner
- Identifying and creating opportunities for cost reduction / value adding when entering into arrangement with our supply chain
- Being aware of key risks under the main contract and the opportunities to flow down these where appropriate
- Issuing all contractual correspondence under both the main contract and the subcontracts
- Providing timely advice and updates to the project team to assist with their delivery of the project
- Providing the team with timely updates and advice.
- Present well structured, informed arguments, whilst being able to consider other points of view
- Manage subcontractor progress and performance
- Advise the team on common law and contractual issues for the project
- Foster positive relationships with the client and the subcontractors
- Lead claims and dispute resolution procedures, with a view to reaching legal and commercially beneficial solutions
- Anticipate issues, events and risks under the contract and provide recommendations for legal and commercial solutions to mitigate these risks
- Contribute to the achievement of safety objectives and minimise the company’s risk exposure by ensuring contracted services are conducted in accordance with OH&S policies, programs and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies
- Provide oversight and similar advice to other contracts in the business.
You will be responsible for managing a number of EPC contracts between the business and developer.

Qualifications:
- Degree qualified in either: Law, Commerce, Business Management, Engineering or related disciplines. Postgraduate qualifications in contract management or law is considered a plus.
- 2+ years’ experience in top tier global law firm or senior professional services environment
- 3+ years’ experience working as a contract manager/administrator on an EPC Contract (preferably in the renewable energy space, though relevant transferable experience will be considered)
