The client are recruiting for a Permit & Isolation Coordinator, to join a major operator on a 12 month contract basis.
Roster: 15/13
Location: Qld
The Permit & Isolation Coordinator is responsible for the permit & isolation preparation for field execution activity to ensure the safe & efficient delivery of campaigns in accordance with work processes and standards within Upstream Operations.
Dimensions
The role will report to the Operations Program Supervisor within the Operations Program team. The role has no direct reports.
Accountabilities
The key areas for delivering the role are:
• Support field-based personnel to meet HSSE requirements;
• Prepare permits & isolations and ensure timely approval;
• Print permits, isolation and relevant attachments;
• Print work packs and quality documentation;
• Print isolation tags in preparation for work execution;
• Submit land access requests and ensure notification prior to planned work activity;
• Attend permit meetings within Upstream Operations;
• Ensure readiness to execute work per the approved schedule;
• Manage permit and isolation changes & communication due to schedule changes;
• Review and ensure isolation & permit close-out;
• Complete assigned MoC actions;
• Maintain assigned registers;
• Complete permit to work & isolation audits.
Requirements for this role are:
• Ability to apply company policies and procedures, industry standards and skilled in the application of functional assurance processes;
• Ability to read and understand engineering documents & drawings (PIDs, C&E etc.)
• High level of computing skills and experience with – Microsoft Office, Maximo, eVision & eB.
• Extensive knowledge of quantifying and assessing risk and developing risk mitigation strategies;
• Ability to constructively challenge others and negotiate successfully with internal peers, partners and contractors to positively influence decisions and improve ways of working;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill;
• Results orientated with a high level of initiative and capacity to exercise good judgment;
• High level interpersonal skills;
• Ability to focus on the key issues and prioritise accordingly;
• Role will be based in the Surat Basin, QLD, on a 15 on & 13 off roster.
