Contract: Head Process Engineering / Qatar

We have a TAX FREE Contractual opportunity for you to work with a Qatar based LNG Operator.

Skill: Head Process engineering

• Duration: 24 months
• 5/6 days per week, 8/10 hours per day.
• Travel Days unpaid
• Leave Schedule:  30 Calendar Days every 1 year OR 12 weeks / 2 weeks
• Visa Status –Provided by NES
• Medical Insurance provided to you.
• Expenses with regard to the family and education is not paid
• Family can be brought into the country under personal sponsorship
• Any days not worked not paid
• Location: Qatar

Job Purpose:
Responsible for Company stewardship of high quality and complete process engineering deliverables from engineering Contractor to ensure feasibility studies meet objectives and also provide process support to MP projects as necessary.  Ensures that the Project’s requirements for all process engineering deliverables are fully executed by the engineering Contractor per project schedule. 

• This role is responsible for leading all standalone feasibility studies realted to process which includes ability to define scope of work requirements, ability to evaluate competent engineering firms and contractors to meet study objectives.
• Bachelor degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical Engineering)
• 20+ years of experience in discipline with at least 10 years demonstrated senior engineering experience in major capital projects
• Experience with EPC contractors, sub-contractors, licensors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry
• Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from variety of cultural backgrounds
• Strong understanding of process simulation software
