The Role:
Duties:
In this role, you will support our user education needs by writing new user-facing documentation for a variety of products related to the telco industry, as well as helping to define a structured process for approaching help documentation going forward. Types of documentation may include items such as help center content, scripts for video tutorials, or content for presentation decks. Your work may be a continuation of documentation already started, a revamp of existing documentation or brand new documentation.

Skills:
* Write help content and other user documentation that translates technical jargon into easy-to-understand instructions and explanations
* Audit and refine currently existing documentation to meet Facebook content standards
* Work with engineering, product, and support teams to determine new content to write, and prioritize according to user and product needs
* Support new product launches by ensuring that there is relevant documentation prepared prior to launch
* Own the translation process in order to offer documentation in different languages
* Assist in defining future user education content strategy and process
* Must have strong writing abilities (grammar/sentence structure sense, etc.)
* Experience writing for an external-facing project (ideally website, more ideally help content)

Education:
* BA degree
* Experience managing complex projects that require cross-functional collaboration
* Ability to work independently in an unfamiliar space; able to learn quickly and conduct research as needed to come to the correct answer
* Good sense of user empathy; ability to understand user needs and challenges in order to prioritize documentation needs
* Experience writing for an external- facing project (ideally website, more ideally, help content)
* Experience writing for a B2B audience a plus
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience with HTML a plus
* Experience working with a Content Management System a plus
