Essential Responsibilities:
? Issue purchase orders and conduct milestone tracking to ensure purchase orders are actively managed from the point issued to the point the product/service is received.
? Develop and manage supplier relationships.
? Conduct Request for Quotes to identify sources for unsourced parts, develop alternative sources, and negotiate lower costs with existing and new sources to achieve cost savings.
? Support global initiatives related to payment term improvement, supply/demand alignment, inventory reduction, and cost-out execution.
? Monitor metrics and achieve organization targets:
o Supplier on-time delivery
o Spend deflation (savings)
o Quality
o Maintaining accurate PO delivery dates and updating past due dates.
o Reducing supply shortages by aligning deliveries to manufacturing need dates.
o Releasing purchase requisitions on-time according to MRP release dates.
Qualifications/Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Sourcing.
? Must have SAP experience
? MS Office Suites experience especially Excel
? Strong oral and written communication skills.
? Team player with the ability to work cross-collaboratively with other functions within and outside of Supply Chain.
? Results-focused individual that holds themselves and their team members accountable to achieving the goals of the organization.
? Considers safety, quality, and compliance at the forefront of all decisions.

? Previous oilfield buying/procurement experience
? Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
? Ability to work independently.
? Strong problem-solving skills.
