Lead Resident Engineer (Geotechnical)

Responsibilities:

Assist Chief Resident Engineer and Qualified Person (Supervision) in daily supervision and coordination duties
Enforce specifications, national regulations, local Authorities’ requirements, Singapore Standards and good practices
Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues with Contractors
Liaise with the Engineering Manager and the Project Technical Specialists on the review and approval of design submissions including calculations and drawings
Define inspection and special testing requirements and ensure coordination of those efforts on all contracts
Ensure inspection documentation fully complies with the local Authorities’ requirements

Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board
Registered as Resident Engineer with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore
At least 10 years of relevant experience in design and construction of large infrastructure project or waste/water management projects in Singapore, particularly foundation piles, earth retaining or stabilising structures, instrumentation & monitoring, ground improvement and soil investigation works.
