Contract: Mechanical Fitter / Papua New Guinea

Immediate requirement for 3 months straight consecutive work on a gold mine in Papua New Guinea, Due to the COVID19 Pandemic a core crew of staff has stayed working for the last 2 months with travel restrictions on site ensuring the operation of all fixed plant assets of the mine. With a crew change scheduled for the start of June we are seeking Mechanical fitters to relieve on site crew.

While on site the roster will be 4 days on & 2 days off (unpaid) for a period of 3 months, prior to mobilization to site you will need to quarantine in a hotel for 2 weeks (which will be provided) Points of mobilization suitable are only Cairns & Brisbane

To be suitable for this role you should have the following:

- 5-10 Years in mining as a Mechanical fitter working on Fixed plant assets with grinders, crushers & conveyors
- Available immediately
- Able to work in a dynamic, changing environment
- Experience in PNG preferred but not essential
- Relevant mechanical trade
