Contract: Project Coordinator / Onshore Engineer / Qatar

An international Trading firm in Qatar is looking to hire Project Coordinator/Onshore Engineer with an engineering background to manage the crew. 

Minimum five (5) years’ experience with OCTG products, with a minimum of two (2) years working offshore. 

Preferred experience in tubular running and inspection services, specifically VAM products.      

Project management/coordination experience also preferred, but not mandator if candidate processes the right skills.

 

Main Activities:

 

•Focal point for all technical communication of activities related to the handling & running of OCTG Products.
•Ensure correct planning with client and coordination of needed offshore resources through attending weekly/bi-weekly project update meetings with client.
·Provide support for the Onshore activity when Permanent Engineers are Offshore as per the below. 
Inspection @ Port Unloading/Loading,
inspection @ Client yard whilst unloading
Supervising down hole equipment (DHE) assembly make up at clients third party location. (In Qatar)
