The client are global pharmaceutical business who are undergoing a period of significant growth. As part of this growth, they are now actively recruiting for a Project Engineering Manager to join their Engineering team. This is an exciting role for the business that will play a big role in the growth and development of the company in the coming years.

The Role:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful Project Engineering Manager will have a diverse portfolio of responsibilities. These include:
  • Responsibility for project management of engineering plans and projects – from initial scope and outline through to approval
  • Ensuring all projects comply with 3rd Party Manufacturing requirements, including EHS and GMP
  • Improving site efficiency through design and implementation of new projects and process change
  • Controlling Engineering Budgets with a value of up-to £3m
  • Control and management of Engineering Systems across a busy manufacturing site – including Layout Drawings, Seals Drawings and Component Specifications
The Candidate:
The successful Project Engineering Manager will be experienced in the challenges of working in a Pharmaceutical business. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate;
  • Previous experience of operating to pharmaceutical quality standards is essential
  • A track-record of success in delivering and driving project change is essential
  • Ideally, you will be a chartered Engineer, or will be working to Chartered status
  • An ability to lead and develop Project Management teams is essential
