Quality Manager / Norway

QUALITY MANAGER (FLUENT IN NORWEGIAN)

A major Construction company is seeking a highly skilled Norwegian/Swedish Speaking Quality Manager to support with their growth, Quality management and construction processes in Norway. This is a key function within a market leading global business and requires a Norwegian speaking candidate who has local experience leading construction for tunnelling and underground projects in the Nordic region.

They are seeking a well rounded construction quality specialist who is able to oversee the quality management, ISO set up, processes and standards, client interface, budgets and operational management of projects. They will be working towards the delivery of the large diameter tunnels working both from site and office for long term posts and will initially be based from Head Office for this new contract.

This is a key position reporting to the Project Director and to the companies international management. It will be focused on the delivery of a multi billion NOK contract and will be a central figure in the growth of the business. As such experience on projects of this nature will be required with a track record on multiple projects over £100m within tunnelling, rail or civils.

Responsibilities

-Quality management of infrastructure works

-Implementing quality standards (ISO, BS)

- Budget management and procurement

-Building and recruiting a specialist team

-Communicating with the client and consultant representatives

-Liaising with construction site teams

-Overseeing sub-contractors

An ideal candidate for this position will have the following:

-FLUENT IN Norwegian

-Degree or equivalent in quality or similar.

-Previous experience in roles such as Quality Manager, Quality coordinator, HSEQ manager

-Experience with Tunnel, concrete and major underground civil projects will be beneficial.

Candidates must be willing to relocate to Oslo, Norway on a full time basis. There will be flights provided if needed and packages are negotiable however will be competitive.
