Rail Resident Engineer: Bangladesh

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer for a major rail project in Bangladesh

Opportunity:

The client is a leading International consultancy firm who are currently undertaking a major rail project in the country of Bangladesh. The project is currently in the construction supervision phase to which an additional Resident Engineer is required is required to supervise the works.

Responsibilities on the project:

As the Resident Engineer the successful individual shall be working as part of an International team supporting the Team Leader in all technical aspects. The Resident Engineer will be responsible, along with another Resident Engineer to supervise contracts, resolving technical issues and assisting with stakeholder management.

Requirements for the role:

* must have a MSc in Civil Engineering earned from any reputable university
* more than 25 years of total professional experience
* more than 9 years of experience as "Resident Engineer" or similar position
* more than 20 years of experience in the execution of transport construction project, preferably railway
* at least 4 railway projects
* at least 3 projects in South Asia or South East Asia countries
* more than a decade of overseas experience
