Site Manager - Innovative and growing business - Up to $170K package / Australia

The client is a well respected contractor who build projects typically worth between $3mil and $30mil. They undertake refurbishment, fit- out and new-build projects around Melbourne in various sectors including commercial, health and aged care. They are proud of the fact they will handle projects many builders do not have the expertise to handle.

This role is available because the client has a strong pipeline of work. They are looking for a Site Manager who exercises firm control on site ensuring the highest OH&S standards are maintained whilst holding a build to budget, schedule and quality expectations. due to the variety of their work they are looking for someone who enjoys the challenges of both fit-out and new-build.

The responsibilities of the Site Manager will include:

- Dealing with sub-contractors and directing them on site
- Ensuring all tradesmen on site are working safely with correct equipment
- Driving the site team to deliver projects on time
- ensuring the build is efficient

To be considered for the role of Site Manager you will require:

- At least two years experience as a construction site manager
- An OH&S qualification
- Experience of both fit-out and new build
- Be a team player who enjoys construction
