Clinical Data Manager - $120000 per annum / Australia

This is an exciting Clinical Data Manager opportunity within a unique and global CRO based in Melbourne. 

The client is a Clinical Research Organisation that provides clinical study management on a wide range of phases and therapeutic areas. As a Clinical Data Manager, you will be part of a highly talented biometrics team and you will be tasked managing global studies, as well as developing a data management team in Australia. 

Your key responsibilities:  

• Point of contact for data management activities with investigative sites and sponsors.
• Develop and review ECRFs, Edit Check Specifications, Data Management Plans, and Data Transfer Agreements for clinical trials with sponsor companies and other departments;
• Attend Bid defence meetings with sponsors. 
• Ensure regulatory submissions are filed in a timely manner and are in compliance with applicable regulations. 

To be successful in this role you will have:  

• Minimum 7 years' experience in Data Management; including experience as a point of contact with the sponsor.  
• Expert knowledge of EDC databases and analysis software. 
• Sound knowledge of database structure and computer storage in data management. 
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and experience in a clinical research environment. 
• Excellent multi-tasking skills and proven ability to work under pressure.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
