The Role:
The client, a market leader in the Oil & Gas industry, is seeking a Resource Dispatcher to start immediately on a 12 month contract based in Perth. Reporting to the Logistics Planning & Strategy Lead, the role is responsible for managing the People Movement End to End Process including the development of the flight schedule in conjunction with the helicopter operator, provision of passenger forecasts to fixed wing and accommodation contractors, management and execution of People Movement operations (including rostering) utilising VPOB as well as acting as the focal point for the project rotators.

Key responsibilities of this role may include but are not limited to:
* Enter approved roster changes into the Roster tool and track all changes made
* Allocate personnel to helicopters in Roster tool for all offshore crew changes following complex guidelines
* Maintain data integrity of offshore master roster in the Roster tool
* Provide various reports/outputs to key stakeholders as required
* Manage helicopter and fixed wing bookings for all personnel (company and contractors)
* Provide active duty support 24/7 for aviation support
* Provide support for aviation movements require out of working hours on an as-needed basis
* Administer all logistics offshore report requests for contractor focal points
* Liaise and arrange with travel agents for commercial flight, hotel and transfer bookings as required
* Ensure that all passengers meet offshore travel requirements prior to being allocated to travel
* Ensure booking procedures are adhered to by the focal points and the users
* Track and update training details in VPOB (BOSIET, Fitness to Work, MSIC)
* Act as Contract Holder for multiple contracts relative to People Movement

The role requires extensive liaison /interfacing with multiple service providers (in-house and external) and end-users

Working Arrangements:
As this is an operational role, the candidate will:
* Need to be available to work (of no more than 5 days in a row) across weekdays and weekends
* When in charge of current day operations be available to be on call from 0430 when the first fixed wing flight is departing Perth until the last helicopter lands at 1800
* During Cyclone Season upman / downman activities, be available to work extended hours to assist with managing peak demands

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Strong excel skills with experience in high volume travel management and understanding of the rostering process
* Knowledge in use of Vantage POB
* Display initiative, flexibility, efficiency, tact and diplomacy at all times
* Ability to work independently, set priorities and manage workload
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Communicate and establish positive relationships at all levels
* Strong resilience to difficult situations
