I & C Engineer / Oman

The client is looking for I & C Engineer to be based in Oman.

Degree in Instrument/ Electrical Engineering

Experience in Desalination plants preferred

Minimum 8 years of experience in which 2 years should be in Gulf region

Job Responsibilities:

Conducting regular inspection for subcontractor’s inspection requests. Signing off inspection check lists and reviewing test reports. Ensuring work is executed as per approved ITPs, method statements and procedures, Inspection, Raising and closure of punch list. Maintaining quality management system documentation as part of QA/QC team

Main tasks/assignments to be carried out:

Manage subcontractor works within time frame

Installation & checking of field instruments loop testing and function testing

Review of shop drawings and other submittal by subcontractor

Installation and checking of field instruments like RTD, pressure gauges, dispensers, sensors, limit switches, valves etc.

Testing, evaluating, modifying & calibrating products and instruments

Witnessing installation of control panels

Inspection and closure of punch list items, inspection glanding, termination & testing

Witnessing installation of systems like cathodic protection, earthing ,  fire alarm, lightening protection etc.


Rotation: 8 weeks on/ 2 weeks off
Accomodation & food provided by company.
