Contracts Manager - Fit-Out / Refurbishment / England

An experienced and enthusiastic Contracts Manager or Project Manager is required to join a well established fit out and refurbishment company.
 
The ideal Contracts Manager will be able to show a commitment to the future success of the company and be willing to carry the unique culture and philosophy.
 
Role
You will have proven experience as a successful Project Manager with experience in interior fit-out and refurbishment. You should have worked on projects with a value between £100k-£2m. You should be confident at dealing with people and possess the skills to communicate confidently and effectively with end user clients and consultants.
 
As a Project Manager your experience will include the following:

• Most likely to have demonstrable experience within the fit-out and refurbishment industry, and some experience of new build would be an advantage
• London experience preferable
• Capable of looking after  2-4 projects at any one time
• Project size between £100k and £2m

 
Day to day duties include:

• Responsibility for production
• Programme
• Cost control
• Quality & safety
• Procurement
• Conversant with bills & contracts
• Preparation of EOT claims
• Contract correspondence
• To represent the company at monthly progress meetings, design meetings, internal cost meetings, safety meetings etc

 
Direct Reports:
Site Managers
Line reporting by surveyors for individual contracts
