Location: Perth, Australia
Duration:Contract - 6 months

The Role:
Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to join the team on a 6 month contract. In consultation with the Project team, this role will work closely with the business to analyse, design, improve and where possible automate business processes and forms to meet business needs and promote effective enterprise content management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document and oversee implementation of business process improvements to ensure best practice in information management across corporate business systems
  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Own and develop relationships with stakeholders, working with them to optimise and enhance enterprise content management
  • Experience working with senior decision makers
  • Help design, document and implement system processes
  • Communicate key insights and findings to technical team members
  • Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer
  • Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to project team
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Our Client is a leading Government owned utilities company with assets across Western Australia. Their main objective is to provide sustainable management across various services.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • OpenText Content Server experience
  • Extensive experience in Information Management at an enterprise level
  • Experience working in Agile projects
  • Business process modelling using BPMN2 and ARIS techniques
  • Ability to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational
  • Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Extremely organised with strong time-management skills
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:

  • Experience in designing workflows, electronic forms and process improvements
  • Experience in using Mega HOPEX business process modelling tool
  • Certification with the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) or equivalent
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience in applying the IIBA BABOK principles
