Introduction
The client is pleased to offer the following key contract position: Project Cost &Schedule Engineer
Work Location: Stavanger
Start date: 10.02.2020 - 31.12.2020

Description
- Develop and maintain the project schedule and project cost control system
- Maintain timely awareness on project cost and schedule performance with high focus on interfaces and critical activities
- Communicate project cost and schedule status to all relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor and control ongoing or emerging issues that could impact project budget or schedule
- Provide guidance as required to ensure consistency and quality in the planning and cost controlling process and recommend corrective action where necessary
- Prepare regular and timely progress reports, rolling-up contractors cost & schedule status into an overall integrated project status report, detailing progress against plan
- Monitor and review contractors cost and schedule performance throughout the contract execution; recommend corrective action where necessary
- Implement and maintain a Work Breakdown Structure in alignment with applicable Standard Cost Coding System
- Monthly cost status reporting and forecasting
- Preparation of cash flow forecast and monthly accruals
- Allocation of budgets and costs to account numbers
- Monthly cost status reporting and forecasting
- Participate in the development of a project risk register to identify, mitigate and monitor project risks with potential schedule impact
- Support ITT process and tender evaluation
- Participate in the local and Global skill networks
Requirements
- University degree or other relevant education
- Minimum 7 years relevant experience, preferably with both operators and contractors
- Experience with Norwegian field development projects is preferred
- Have detailed understanding of subsea developments, platform modifications and standalone
- developments
- Experienced in risk management activities in offshore field development projects
- Fluent in English (oral and written), Norwegian as an additional language is preferred
