Core Competencies
Duties:
- Read and understand contract; obtain clarifications from Supervisor
- Responsible for managing the project including subcontracts and purchase orders
- Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of the Project Team to ensure that contract deliverables for the project are accomplished within approved schedule and budget.
- Reviews project proposal or plan and develops scope of work, schedule , budgets, and staffing requirements. Establishes or assists in establishing work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and
- including: Scope, Cost, Schedule, Risk, and Quality Management
- Directs and coordinates activities of project team to ensure project progresses on schedule and budget assignment of project personnel
- Meets with project team to communicate work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of project delivery
- Directs and Coordinates all HVEC and Multi-Office activities.
Education:
- BS in Engineering
Required Skills and Experience:
- Heavy Engineering experience, syngas/LNG, petrochem projects
- Smaller EPC project experience ($200-$300MM), EPC background (not purely construction)
- Typically 10+ years of technical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Typically 5+ years project lead or management experience
- Must be authorized to work legally in US without need for visa sponsorship

- Demonstrate knowledge of current technologies, Licensors, Design tools, Software, etc.
- Complete Knowledge of Business and Financial Aspects
- Knowledge of Phased (Gated) Work Process, ability to optimize Work Process to suit specific Project
- Knowledge of Project Control Tools; planning, scheduling, cost reporting
- Have good organizational skills, ability to manage some complexity
- Directs some work; conceptual, detailed engineering, construction
- Builds effective Teams
- Understanding of Risk Management
- Communicates effectively
