Cost Controller / Singapore

In this newly created role for the business unit, a previously shared service, you will be responsible for implementing cost control systems across APAC. You’ll implement these systems and then deliver training to the in-country finance teams within the region.

Your role will be to challenge the business and see if cost savings can be made by monitoring expense reports and each country’s P&L.

You’ll need to have a formal finance/accounting qualification and experience in a finance role –experience of auditing would be ideal fit for the role. You will be challenging the business to reduce spend and so you will need to be someone with confidence to question and challenge others.

You’ll be working for a major international chemical company that is experiencing growth in several regions globally and is adding business functions to its business unit in order to support this growth.
