Tree System Subsea Project Engineer III

Seasoned professional position. Role Synopsis: The
Project Engineer will supervise contractors' execution of
engineystem Subsea Project Engineer III 

*Role Synopsis - Global Subsea Systems (GSS) is responsible for the specification, design, delivery and maintenance of Subsea Production Systems (SPS). GSS acts as single face to the
subsea hardware suppliers for equipment design procurement, storage, maintenance and onshore repair. GSS also provides technical support to concept development and operations.

The GSS Aftermarket Subsea Tree Engineer will report to the GOM Tree Systems Team Lead and is responsible for engineering, hardware delivery, refurbishments and mobilization of subsea tree systems, including trees, tubing hangers, tree caps, wireline plugs and related tooling. Additionally, will support mobilization and maintenance of riser intervention systems.

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Responsible for subsea tree and related equipment delivery per the GSS Operating Model.Provides Subsea Hardware engineering support within defined area of responsibility, which may include providing integrity and risk management, and/or technical assurance for installed subsea hardware systems.
  • Carries out tasks involving equipment delivery and support of installation, commissioninga and start-up, along with ongoing operations. 
  • Provides support for discipline-related Management of Change (MoC) and ensures appropriate technical practices and relevant industry codes are adhered to when modifications are being made.

Essential Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Essential Experience and Job Requirements
  • 7 years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience with subsea trees, intervention systems, offshore installation or intervention activities
  • Familiarity with API codes 6A and 17D
 
25% travel to local suppliers in Houston and Louisiana or sites
(approximately 1 per month or less).
