Contract: Construction Coordinator / Canada

Job Title: Construction Coordinator
Work Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta
Start Date: ASAP

The client is currently seeking a Construction Coordinator for a 2.5 year contract. The Construction Coordinator is responsible providing support to the Owners Construction Management Team for the construction of a large scale project north of Fort McMurray. The position will report into the Site Director and will be a Monday to Friday, from 8 to 4:30 PM, with potential for spot overtime.

Key Accountabilities:

• Track, document and forecast for indirects such as Vehicles, Camp, Flights, Safety Incidents for the Management Team
• Review and track multiple contractors’ forecasts as well as create stewardship and monthly Reports.

Must Have Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a fast paced multi-disciplined construction environment based on a work site
• Minimum of 2 years previous experience in the Construction Industry
• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a diverse environment
• Able to work independently and a quick learner
• Experience with SAP and Enablon not required, but would be beneficial
