Description

?Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for a skilled telecom engineer to work in a large EPC offshore greenfield project.

The right candidate will join a major new build project and will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills within telecom engineering and develop personal skills in a large international project-working environment.

• System Design and follow up of Telecom systems
• Technical responsible (PRE) for Telecom packages
• Designing solutions according to our client's requirements
• Fiber cable calculations
• Follow up vendors and vendor technical documentation and participate in test activities/FAT.
• Ensure that vendor and engineering information required for progress of the work is identified and
• communicated to the project
• Interface to other disciplines, suppliers and client
• Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers

Required Education:

• Education Bachelor degree or Technical College combined with minimum 12 years’ relevant Norwegian Continental Shelf experience
• Ex course
• FSE course

Required Work Experience:

• Minimum 6 years’ experience from greenfield offshore oil&gas or wind projects
• Minimum 2 years’ experience from engineering phase with telecom system engineering and PRE
• responsibility
• Experience and deep knowledge of telecom design according to relevant standards such as
• NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC
• Detail knowledge of Equinor technical requirements (TRs)
