Freelance: Highways Resident Engineer (€8K - €10K) / Albania

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking an experienced Highways Resident Engineer for the Tender Evaluation, Contract award and Construction Supervision of an upcoming project in Kosovo.

Opportunity:

My client is a European consultancy firm who have successfully carried out numerous projects in the region and around the world.

The project is a large part of a high profile scheme consisting of Roads, Bridges & Tunnels funded by the EIB & EBRD.

Responsibilities on the project:

The Key Experts will principally be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the

infrastructure works components, and coordination of the team of non-key experts for

infrastructure-related works. They may also be delegated the duties and obligations of the Engineer during periods of absence of the Team Leader.

Key requirements for the role:

• University degree in Civil Engineering (civil works) with a Master being beneficial.
• 10+ years experience as Highways Engineering for major international highway projects under FIDIC or equivalent;
• 5+ as Resident Engineer
• Regional experience (Balkans) would be beneficial

Language:

Fluent in English is essential with regional languages beneficial

Salary Package:

The salary is flexible depending on experience but would be expected to be in the region of €8-9,000 per month
