Senior Quantity Surveyor – Residential - Growing Main Contractor - £60,000 - £75,000 / England

One of the country’s leading Main Contractors are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a new build residential project based in the Lewisham area. This site has good transport links so people from further afield can also be considered. 25 minutes from both Clapham and Dalston Junctions.

This role would suit someone who has previously worked on residential projects with a Main Contractor as the No.1 commercial point of contact. This will be a Site based role and as a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be leading the commercial aspects of this site. Site Manager who has worked on residential projects at various stages. The project is due on site in August but the business ideally want to employ the right person and the earliest opportunity to allow them to get orders and subcontractors lined up.

The project is a mixture of R/C Frame flats and timber build houses. The site will be a total of 67 units and has a build program of 86 weeks from august. The overall value is expected to be around the £15,500,000 mark.

The ideal candidate MUST have;

• Experience working on a residential scheme as a lead Surveyor
• Experience working for a Main Contractor, ideally a leading company.

It is desirable to have;

• HNC/Degree related to construction – ideally Surveying
• Experience working on residential projects
