In your role as Warehouse Supervisor you are responsible for ensuring all inventory related materials are ordered according specification and in timely manner for maintenance and shutdown activities. Moreover the E2E process is secured from initial material demand by setup of the technical data up to the invoicing, according to    the "one time right" principle. The Warehouse supervisor is responsible for the business as usual and shutdowns warehouse processes. Materials quality control process is applied for receiving of the goods and on tools and personal protection equipment. On regular basis the inventory verification is done by meaning of physical and cycle counts.

Your core activities will be:

  • Alignment and interaction with maintenance supervisors and work preparators
  • Alignment with local and global purchasers
  • Alignment with PM for project materials
  • Interactions with remote warehouses
  • Ensure receipts of purchase orders for materials with appropriate quality for maintenance and shutdowns in several warehouses
  • Ensure ordering and controlling of catalyst stock on remote warehouse locations
  • Ensure issuing materials based on end users requisitions on timely basis
  • Ensure proper follow-up on availability of inventory order proposals and maintenance work orders
  • Ensure all spare parts are in good conditions in accordance to specific part preservation needs
  • Ensure repair process is followed within maintenance
  • Managing the inventory-, purchase-, and supplier for purchase data for new or modified parts
  • Development of catalog and material specification in Inventory data for NNL sites
  • Managing the E2 (spare parts) request from maintenance engineers and supervisors
  • Ensure material contracts are translated into materials agreements within IFS
  • Ensure positive material identification (PMI) when required in accordance with procedures
  • Ensure proper inventory verification, physical and cycle counting and tracking.
  • Develop and ensure KPI reporting is used to control the warehouse processes
  • Ensure proper tools and PPE's management with EMS application
  • Ensure all preventive work orders are executed timely to comply with the mandatory regulations
  • Owner of the Agilon and EMS systems.
  • Deploy initiatives for automated work processes
  • Organize regular HSE toolbox and team meetings
  • Instruction and training of the employees
  • Ensure all PR for maintenance are follow the part procurement process
  • Ensure all PR and PO's are authorized and followed up well in time to meet the delivery due date


 Keys to success in this role

The best combination of experiences, skills and background is:

  • MBO+/ HBO engineering or logistics
  • 5 years of relevant experience in material management or technical buyer position in the petrochemical environment
  • Advanced knowledge of administrative processes and ERP systems
  • Knowledge of materials and used in the industry
  • Basic knowledge of PMI inspections
