Our valued client is seeking a Repairs & Returns Coordinator for a 2 year contract in Cold Lake, AB. Candidates must be local to the area or willing to relocate.

The Returns Coordinator is accountable for ensuring materials no longer required by the business line (B/L) are handled and processed timely to drive value for the organization

The Supply Chain (SC) organization provides end-to-end materials management services to clients:requisitioning, logistics coordination, receiving, storage, kitting/staging, and deliveries for maintenance jobs and repairs/returns.
The Returns Coordinator is accountable for ensuring materials no longer required by the business line (B/L) are handled and processed timely to drive value for the organization
- Work with B/L to determine future needs for surplus materials
- Accountable to develop and own the process for the B/L to drop off material for returns processing
- Follow local controls criteria for returns, including return to stock, Materials on Hold (MOH), returns to vendor, investment recovery, transfers, buybacks, etc.
- Ensure timely processing to monetize returns
- Complete paperwork required for B/L and/or SC endorsements and approvals as needed, including obtaining returns authorization form from vendor
- Oversee material returns activities completed by the third party warehouse service provider, including returns pick-up, processing, and coordinating shipping of materials
- Work with B/L on- site to identify opportunities for excess materials currently managed by B/L
- Work with the local Acquisitions/Contract team to facilitate adding buyback clause language in new and existing material agreements.
- Steward returns to ensure credits are processed and closed
- Report status and provide metrics to B/L or Supply Chain Operations for consolidation (as required)
- Work with vendors to facilitate material return process
- Steward returns to ensure credits are processed and closed timely and accurately
- Interface with vendors and B/L on repairs of materials where applicable
- Provide guidance to B/L on repair vs. buy new options
- Work with Global Inventory Management (GIM) and buyers where item is no longer repairable and new purchase is required
- Create repair purchase requisition set-up and oversee PO creation
- Arrange with designated warehouse shipper to have materials shipped off-site
- Work with vendors on status updates and steward materials returned back to site upon repair completion. Notify warehouse service provider of storage location
- Accountable for process from B/L material drop off to cores/exchanges processing
- Ensure timely processing to monetize cores/exchanges
- Complete paperwork required for B/L and/or SC approvals if needed
- Oversee cores/exchanges activities completed by warehouse service provider associates, including pick-up, processing, and shipping of materials
- Steward cores/exchanges to ensure credits are processed and closed
- Report status and provide metrics to B/L as required
- Strong knowledge of Purchase to Pay, and warehouse operations processes
