THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity for a Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join a firm of P.Q.S. based in Oslo, Norway.

This is a great opportunity to join a go ahead firm of private practice quantity surveyors in the Nordics offering a good range of projects to work on including hotels, residential, data centres and some industrial projects.

As they are working mainly in English, good spoken and written English is essential. Norwegian is not required.

THE CLIENT

Our client is a go ahead firm of private practice quantity surveyors with offices around the UK and in Europe.

They are working on a good range of generally high value projects construction projects for new build, refurbishment and fit out.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be from recently chartered as a Quantity Surveyor to more senior level.

You must have gained your experience working for a firm of private practice quantity surveyors.

You will be involved in both Pre and Post Contract duties on a number of projects including cost planning, tendering, site valuations, cost reporting, cost management and agreement of final accounts.

You will be involved in the full project process from initial client engagement through to project delivery.

Experience of working on a range of building projects as my client is working on retail, hotels, data centres and other projects.

It is essential that you have excellent communication skills as you will deal directly with clients.

Ideally you will be MRICS qualified as a Quantity Surveyor.

Fluent written and spoken English is absolutely essential. Norwegian is not required although if you are interested in learning that would be useful.

You should be interested in making a long term move to Norway.

Salary will be very negotiable.
