THE ROLE
My client, a large firm of construction consultants seeks a PROJECT MANAGER at Senior, Associate or Director level to join them in their central London office to work on high end office fit out projects.
You will carry out the full range of pre contract and post contract services from feasibility through project delivery.
You will deal directly with clients and be able to run your own projects ideally without supervision as well as supervise others when required.
At Director level you can also become involved on networking, business development, presentations, fee bids etc.
THE CLIENT
My client is a successful international firm of construction consultants providing cost management and project management across a wide range of sectors.
Their project management team is highly successful working with a huge range of clients.
THE CANDIDATE
You will need to have a BSc or BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Construction Project Management, Engineering, Architecture or another construction / built environment subject.
Ideally you will be MRICS / MAPM / RIBA or similarly qualified.
You also need to have at least five years’ minimum experience working as a Project Manager post graduation in the construction industry.
You should have worked for either a firm of construction consultants or possibly with a developer.
Please note that my client is not seeking candidates who have only worked for contractors.
Experience of working on high end office fit outs is essential for this role.
My client seeks candidates who have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken), who are enthusiastic and dynamic to deal with challenging projects and demanding clients and able to work without supervision.
You will need to have a stable work record with known firms.
Salary will be very negotiable according to your current salary and requirements for a new role plus there are a number of benefits.
