Quantity Surveyor - Us $100k to Us$115k / USA

THE ROLE

I am now seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work for a firm of PQS based in the centre of NEW YORK, USA to to work on a range of projects.

You will either be MRICS qualified or approaching your APC to become chartered.

You will ideally have broad based experience as projects currently include large commercial and also industrial buildings.

THE CLIENT

My client is a British firm of private practice quantity surveying consultants with offices in the UK and in New York.

THE CANDIDATE

Their office in NEW YORK, USA is well established and they are now seeking a QUANTITY SURVEYOR / COST MANAGER who must have a BSc in Quantity Surveying to join them.

Ideally you will be MRICS qualified too but the Degree with good experience is more important so you may be either MRICS qualified or approaching taking your APC.

You will be at project surveyor level.

Because of the VISA situation my client prefers British candidates but candidates from Australia or New Zealand or South Africa may be a possibility.

You must have worked for another firm of consultant quantity surveyors and have gained experience of both pre and post contract duties in particular have good experience of pre contract cost planning, cost estimating etc.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious quantity surveyor with excellent client facing skills to join a firm who are further growing their New York office.

Salary in the region of US$100000 to US$115000 negotiable per annum plus bonus, health insurance, dental insurance, etc.
