Construction Manager / Australia

Opportunity for a Construction Manager to oversee and lead the onsite constriction of a newly awarded wastewater treatment plant upgrade in Sydney.

The responsibilities of the Construction Manager are:

• Manage the onsite construction activities of a wastewater treatment plant upgrade
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and deliver cost effective construction methodologies 
• Ensure work is delivered to the highest standards in terms of quality, environmental and health and safety
• Manage client and stakeholder interaction during construction

The requirements of the Construction Manager are:

• 10+ years experience working in the civil construction industry
• Experience working within water, sewer, pump stations or pipeline construction projects is highly desired
• Sydney Water experience is highly regarded 
• Experience in managing projects $20m+
• Effective communication and management skills
• A safety conscious mentality 
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
