Contract: Snr Mechanical Engineer / Kurdistan

·To participate as a Mechanical Engineering expert to all aspects of engineering concepts, business case, preliminary safety reviews etc. of facilities projects in the feasibility, concept, and definition stages
·Development priorities, assist with same for projects in execution stage
·Projects modifications to an existing pump design, and as large as new gas facilities, depending on field development priorities
·Accountable for the quality assurance, design optimisation and Mechanical integrity of the facilities/equipments proposed for execution
·In collaboration with the Sr. Process Engineer, to ensure the design and engineering of proposed facilities integrates safely with existing production operations; that all interfaces are identified and managed in good time
·To participate to, or coordinate, discussions and collaboration with other teams in, Operations and HSE, to optimize facilities design, achieve alignment, and complete FID on time

·Significant experience in managing Mechanical engineering definition and execution, including operations, oil and gas facilities projects
·Onshore design experience, including substantial detail design track record
·Safety aware with high level of personal commitment to meeting project and company targets
