Manufacturing Operations Manager Electrification - Distribution / Thailand

You will oversee all aspects related to operations of a local unit (s) including the full scope of Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality & Operational Excellence, Value Chain Planning or Project Controls in Samutprakarn, Thailand. Reporting to the LBU Manager, your focus will be on lean, faultless execution in an extended value chain.
Developing business action plans for the unit(s), monitoring implementation and tracking any deviation for corrective actions.
Preparing annual budget, oversees progress, and determining actions to cost issues as necessary to manage operations within the budget and resources.
Developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations.
Ensuring that the organization take an overall value chain perspective to meet customer expectations on quality, service levels and lead time.
Maintaining compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations while monitoring and reporting progress and results.
Providing support to Sales staff to improve understanding of customer requirements to identify both potential constraints and solutions to these requirements from an operational point of view.
Driving an effective, capable, and high performing team by reviewing organizational effectiveness, and assessing competence, and developing talent.

A degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
More than 10-15 years of experience in Assembly business, preferably Switchgear, working as Manufacturing Operations Manager.
Sound knowledge of managing big teams (minimum team size 20) and in-depth knowledge of HSE, Supply Chain Management and Inventory Management.
Experience in strategic and operational planning, with profit and loss responsibility, in a multinational organization.
Ability to anticipate customer and stakeholder needs.
Strong, well-developed communication, influencing, coaching and leadership skills.
