QA/QC Engineer / France

We are seeking an intermediate level QA/QC Engineer for a long term contract position within France

Applicants MUST be an EU passport holder and must be eligible to work within France 

Applicants will have 5-7 years engineering experience - this is not a senior level role 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Participates in the QA and QC activities during the Execution of the project.
The QA/C Engineer supports the inspection schedule for the project, in accordance with the requirements established by the PQM
Assist in managing the interface with the External Inspection Agencies using the Frame Agreements in place.
Coordinates inspections for certain packages as required and as defined by the Project Quality Manager and using the Quality Inspection System tool.
Liaise with Suppliers and Inspectors over final documentation.
Maintain Supplier QA/QC Registers and schedules – Inspection Schedules, Inspection Report Register, and Supplier NCR Register as required.
Carry out Project internal and external audits as required.
Contribute  in the achievement of the Project HSEQ targets.
Suggest  improvement in Company Quality documentation through Agility.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Mechanical or Multidisciplinary engineering degree.
Good communication skills.
Computer literate.
General understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities and with ISO 9001 standard.
Experienced in Documentation activities.
Interested in further development within the Quality Discipline
Good level of English.

WORKING PATTERN

Monday-Friday office based in France – 8 hours per day
Occasional trips to worksites onshore and offshore globally.
