Senior Project Surveyor / PQS / England

Salary / Rate: £55000 to £75000 per annum + pension, healthcare, life assurance etc.

THE ROLE

I am now seeking a SENIOR PROJECT SURVEYOR / QUANTITY SURVEYOR who is either MRICS qualified or “chartered by experience” to join a firm of PQS in the City of London.

A background working for another UK firm of PQS or multi disciplinary consultants is essential.

This firm is continually making and suggesting improvements in the construction industry and likes candidates who can “think outside the box” and who are interested in the bigger picture.

You will be involved in pre and post contract work across a range of projects which include residential including affordable housing, student accommodation, prime residential, buy to let, mixed use and other projects.

You will have the opportunity of working on high value projects either as part of a team or running projects yourself.

THE CLIENT

My client is a firm of construction consultants offering clients a range of services including quantity surveying, project management etc.

They have a good variety of projects for new build, refurbishment and fit out working closely with a wide variety of well known clients including investors, developers, landlords, occupiers and more.

Their projects are mainly residential or residential led including some commercial.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be either a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor with a Quantity Surveying Degree who is MRICS qualified or have a number of years PQS experience and be “chartered by experience”.

You could be from recently chartered level upwards.

Good pre and post contract experience is required.

You should be able to run your own projects and supervise a graduate or project surveyor as required. You should also be happy to work as part of a team on very high value projects.

Good client facing skills essential.

You will have a stable work record and have worked for a known UK firm of PQS or consultants.

You will be keen to join a firm offering good prospects.

You should be keen to join a firm where you can get involved in a variety of project types.

You will work on projects mainly in the London area.

My client pays excellent salaries probably in the region of £55000 to c. £75000 per annum plus good range of benefits.
