THE ROLE
I am seeking a Senior Building Surveyor who is MRICS qualified to join our international client in their City of London office.
Our client is increasing their team size due to an ever increasing workload.
They are working on projects for investors and occupiers and developers.
You will need to have gained broad based building surveying experience of both project and professional duties.
Duties will include dilapidations advice and negotiations for landlords and tenants, technical due diligence and surveys for investors and occupiers and specifying and running of refurbishment works. Sometimes you will also do defect diagnosis and planned preventative maintenance schedules.
Projects will mainly be offices and industrial buildings across the South East and also due diligence across the UK and in Europe.
THE COMPANY
Our client is an international firm of property and construction consultants.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a Senior Building Surveyor with a Degree or Diploma or MSc in Building Surveying plus you will need to be MRICS qualified.
You will ideally be from just chartered upwards but candidates who are approaching taking the APC and have good experience with another firm of consultants will also be considered.
You must have experience in all core Building Surveying duties in particular good experience of due diligence, surveys, and dilapidations.
Any experience of project management is preferred.
You will join a large team of Building Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors, MEP Engineers, Project Managers etc.
A full UK driving licence holder is preferred.
Salary around £45000 to £65000 plus car allowance, bonus, pension, health insurance, life assurance, professional fees, and other benefits.
