Site Quality Manager
Wind Farm
Location: Scotland, UK
Start: ASAP
Duration: 12 months (renewable on agreement)
Salary: Negotiable
Rotation: TBC (usually 75/21 days)
Working Week: 6 days p/week - 10 hrs p/day
Accommodation / Flights / Insurances provided by Client
Requirement:
QA/QC manager with several years of offshore wind power project experience (to be verified by written reference of previous project customers or employers).
Degree in Mechanical- or Electrical Engineering preferred.
Good technical working knowledge of Wind Turbines.
In depth knowledge of all relevant international standards and specifications related to QA/QC, erection and commissioning of offshore wind power projects.
According to the tasks requirement of the client, please refer to below detailed job description/activities.
Represent the Company for all quality matters on site
Ensure the availability of qualified quality assurance and control personnel during both bidding and execution phases
Ensure quality personals management, development and optimization
Management and update the company Quality Management Manual (QMS)
Working together with the project management towards the solutions of the quality issues
Liaise with the authorized Company Quality System certification body
Ensure the compliance with the health and safety guidelines and legal obligations
Guarantee that the Subcontractors comply with the project quality procedure
Plan and supervise the quality system audits, evaluate and carry out the necessary corrective actions
Provide necessary assistance and expertise to the Subcontractors concerning the quality issues
Propose preventive measures, promote and implement changes
Evaluate the quality systems of Subcontractors and their suppliers
Check the reports and documentation issued by the inspectors and verify the collection of the required quality records
Approve the quality works dossier for final handover to the Document Controller
Guarantee the effectiveness of the NCR management process
Maintain all the quality files and records, and guarantee their availability and up-to-date to Client/Site team
Attend the Client, Contractor und Subcontractor meetings
Complete a daily/weekly detailed progress reports
