Our client a well-recognised and established main contractor is currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to continue their consistent growth within the Auckland market. This company has created a reputation for delivering some of Auckland’s most iconic high-end apartments, office blocks and commercial buildings.
This is a site-based position and will be responsible for responsible for coordinating, managing and quality control of shop drawings as well as liaising with multiple stake holders including subcontractors, the internal site-based team and consultants. A high-level of standards is required within this position as there’s a large amount of Quality assurance, quality control and health and safety included within this position.

Before you apply, we’re seeking the following:
  • A tertiary qualification, either engineering or building science related. The degree or qualification needs to be relevant to the construction industry
  • A minimum of 4 years’ operating in a Site or Project Engineer position delivering on commercial projects
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal as well as proven experience working alongside internal and external stakeholders
  • The current legal right to live and work in New Zealand, this is an urgent requirement for our client therefore we cannot go through visa processes
