SUMMARY The Logistics Specialist – Technology, Settlement and TM Master Data supports the Logistics Department in their deployment of SAP S/4 HANA and EWM. This position also supports daily regional logistics activities involving the storage and transport of non- hazardous and hazardous package and bulk products via all available modes in support of customers and businesses assuring logistics standards are maintained and service integrity is preserved. This logistic role reports to the Logistics Manager for Process Improvement and Transportation Management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Functional
? Support Deployment of Transportation Management Module TM in SAP
? Support Master Data entry and the management of master data in SAP
? Approval and audit of freight invoices. General support of invoice settlement activities
? Support of data cut-over activities and data load in SAP
? SAP testing
? Management of rates in the rate tables within SAP
? Processes claims associated with Logistics service providers
? Support Order-to-Cash (OTC - Customer Service) and Site Logistics to resolve issues with SAP TM
? Investigation and root cause analysis of incidents reported in the Customer Feedback and Supplier Non-conformance systems to drive continuous improvement in service and performance of 3rd party partners
? Consult with operations and OTC on better operational procedures to improve overall efficiency, service and cost
? Support and troubleshooting to resolve freight payment issues and processes
? Actively support continuous improvement through ongoing analysis of network operation and performance with emphasis on safety, service, and cost
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
? Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required
? Finance or accounting background
? Experience in data entry and data management
ADDITIONAL, SKILLS, CAPABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE
Candidates must have the following experience or working knowledge:
? Minimum of 3 years of relevant or similar work experience in logistics
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Excellent negotiation and influential skills
? Data driven, addresses partner and customer needs
? Ability to plan and prioritize work
? Strong sense of urgency and follow through
? Proficient User of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
? Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system
? Ability to participate in cross-functional, team-oriented environment
? Ability to interact with multiple levels of leadership internally and externally
